Jared Kushner come from a family of felons, slumlords, perverts and assholes. He married into the same sort family.  These people are grifters, weirdoes, assholes, and Nazis. These grifters got in bed with Russia and Putin for financial gain. Their grift went wrong and ended with Trump in the Whitehouse. Now Kushner is expected to run the country. I feel like we are living in a badly written satire. I really do.

Colbert and Black Lives Matter

Stephen Colbert is a reasonable man. As such, he supports humane causes. Recently he has taken to wearing a Black Lives Matter bracelet. Apparently, the slimebeasts that work at FOX NEWS do not approve. From Crooks and Liars:

In case you were unaware, the movement that was formed in support of all the Black lives that have been taken by law enforcement is too controversial and no one in the MSM should pledge their support. I figured that showing solidarity with a particular demographic, who has been clearly marginalized and targeted, is something anyone with human feelings could get behind. Apparently, the folks at Fox 'News' do not see any reason to support a cause if it is associated with equality, civil rights and ethnic groups other than Caucasian, and damn it, Stephen Colbert should know better.

I assume what happened is that Jonah Goldberg accidentally read a few pages of a book one time. In it, he read some random historian in 1967 saying that Roosevelt’s New Deal had a large dose of Authoritarianism in it, and that the Fascist movements in Europe also were Authoritarian. He didn’t understand it  (reading comprehension is hard, ya know?) but he did recognize some of the words. He recognized ‘Hitler’ and ‘Roosevelt’. What passes for the Jonah brain went to work and determined that Hitler was a Nazi and Roosevelt was a Democrat and therefore Democrats are Nazis QED and such. Soon the pages of National Review were filled with claptrap and (which much thanks to Antonin “Fuck Your Mother, your Liberal Bastard” Scalia) jiggery-pokery about all liberals being secret Nazis.

The meme quickly spread through the right wing echo chamber until every meth addled and cheeto stained FOX “NEWS” viewer was screaming it at the top of their lungs over at Redstate and other Neo-Confederate websites.
